
黄慧琳
黄慧琳博士2012年于中山大学获得博士学位。随后,在美国西北大学Chonghui Cheng教授和辛辛那提大学Jianjun Chen教授课题组进行博士后训练。回国前担任美国希望之城国家医学中心研究助理教授。2020年通过国家海外高层次人才计划和中山大学“百人计划”引进回国。目前担任中山大学肿瘤防治中心研究员,华南恶性肿瘤防治全国重点实验室独立PI,博士生导师。
黄慧琳博士长期专注于肿瘤RNA表观遗传学的科学研究,取得多项原创性成果,包括揭示RNA m6A甲基化的生成决定机制(Nature, 2019.)、发现一类全新的m6A 读码器和m6A修饰的新功能(Nature Cell Biology, 2018.)、阐明m6A修饰在正常造血分化及急性髓系白血病中的作用(Cell Stem Cell, 2018; Cancer Cell, 2020.)。迄今为止,黄慧琳博士共发表SCI论文40余篇,引用超过9000次,以通讯或第一作者身份在Nature、Nature Cell Biology(2篇)、Cell Stem Cell、Cancer cell(2篇)和Nature Reviews Clinical Oncology等国际高水平期刊发表论文。担任广州精准医学应用学会委员,美国血液学会会员,中国细胞生物学学会会员。担任Nature Cell Biology, National Science Review、Nature Communications和Science Advance等期刊的审稿人。
研究方向:
课题组研究方向为肿瘤中RNA修饰的功能机制和干预:
(1)在白血病和多种实体瘤中采用表观转录组测序系统挖掘RNA修饰相关的生物标志物;
(2)鉴定新型的RNA修饰调控蛋白,并阐明其在肿瘤代谢、干性维持和免疫响应等方面的生物学功能。
(3)以RNA修饰相关蛋白为靶点开发小分子抑制剂和抗肿瘤疗法。
