Dr. Lu graduated from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences
(SUMS) in 1977. He engaged in the laboratory of cancer pathology and
cancer cytobiology in Cancer Institute of Sun Yat-sen University of

Research:
He is specialized in radiotherapy of head and neck carcinoma. For a
number of years, Dr. Lu 's research has been focused on the clinical
behaviors characteristics and how to enhance the effects of
radiotherapy in nasopharyngeal carcinoma. He has studied the
radiosensitizing activity of three Chinese herbal agents in
combination with radiotherapy in the treatment in nasopharyngeal
carcinoma. He is currently investigating how irradiation techniques
to treat nasopharyngeal carcinoma is improved by low-melting-point
lead block.
